In a nutshell

The attractions of the MRC, including its future deep-water port, railway, Route 132 and Highway 30, have contributed to the establishment of several industries across various sectors and also attracted numerous workers. Recent years have been marked by significant investments from research and training centers in energy (IREQ and INRS), distribution companies (Costco), and transportation (Groupe Robert), as well as several advances in scientific research and development services due to green hydrogen and clean fuel production projects, including Recyclage Carbone Varennes (RCV).
